The Recicla BR Group supports sustainable growth by respecting sustainability's three pillars: environment, social, and economy. Aluminum and zinc are infinitely recyclable metals, which alone make the industry more sustainable.
The ReciclaBR Group foundry plants rely a filter system for containment residues, avoiding emissions to the atmosphere and the Latasa Reciclagem plant in Itaquaquecetuba city, state of São Paulo, has a reservoir for captation and reuse of rainwater, in addition to being certified by ISO 14001.
In April 2016, Latasa Reciclagem participated in the new Brazilian System of Measurement and Certification of the Carbon Footprint of Products, launched by ABNT (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards) and the Carbon Trust, a non-profit organization based in London that stimulates low carbon economy all over the world. The company received carbon footprint certification for the aluminum ingot.
ReciclaBR Group uses recycled raw material to produce extruded profiles and moulded parts. As a result, besides saving energy due to recycling, there is less emission of greenhouse gases, resulting in environmentally correct products.
